School Psychologist Licensure Compact

Current understanding

Michigan HB6017 would enact the School Psychologist Licensure Compact, an interstate agreement enabling school psychologists licensed in one member state to practice in other member states through license portability. The compact is aimed at addressing workforce shortages and easing credential recognition for school psychologists moving between states. Status: introduced.
