TIE BAR WITH: SB 0969’26: SB 0970 (introduced, tie-barred with SB 0969) would amend sec. 134a of the Mental Health Code (1974 PA 258, MCL 330.1134a) to exclude hospitals providing swing bed services from the definition of ‘covered facility’ for adult foster care purposes. Amends secs. 20173a & 20173b of 1978 PA 368 (MCL 333.20173a & 333.20173b).: SB0969 (introduced) would amend MCL 333.20173a and 333.20173b of the Public Health Code to add hospitals providing swing-bed services to the definition of ‘covered facility,’ subjecting their employees to the Code’s criminal-history check requirements.
