Substance Use Disorder Services Program Licensing

Current understanding

Part 62 of the Public Health Code (1978 PA 368, MCL 333.6230 et seq.) governs who must hold a substance use disorder (SUD) services program license in Michigan and the rules that apply to such programs. HB 5729 of the 103rd Legislature proposes to amend MCL 333.6230, 6233, 6234, and 6238 to modify which persons are required to hold an SUD services program license and to require that uniform rules be adopted as is reasonable. The bill has been introduced.
