Municipal Health Facilities Corporations Act — SUD Program References
Current understanding
The Municipal Health Facilities Corporations Act (1987 PA 230, MCL 331.1103) contains references to licensed substance use disorder services programs. HB 5730 of the 103rd Legislature proposes to amend section 103 to update those references so they also include SUD programs that are exempt from licensure, aligning the act with companion changes to Part 62 of the Public Health Code. The bill has been introduced and is tie-barred to HB 5729.
