Medicaid Primary Care Spending Target
Current understanding
A proposed amendment to Michigan’s Social Welfare Act (1939 PA 280) would require the Medicaid program to establish a target for the share of medical-services spending directed to primary care. The measure would add sec. 105k and amend sec. 105d (MCL 400.105d). It has been introduced in the House and has not yet advanced beyond committee.
