Amends 1956 PA 218 (MCL 500.100 - 500.8302) by adding sec. 3406ww.: cross-connection with special-enrollment-health-system-closure: HB6019’s special enrollment trigger is defined around the same ‘closure or removal of a health system’ event that the network removal procedures page addresses, linking the insurance-side consumer remedy to the underlying network-change process. Amends 1956 PA 218 (MCL 500.100 - 500.8302) by adding sec. 3406uu.: HB6030 (Rep. Jason Morgan, 103rd Legislature) introduced and referred to House Insurance committee; would add sec. 3406uu to the Insurance Code (1956 PA 218) establishing required procedures when a health insurer closes or removes a health system from its provider network.
