Why this matters
This is the fourth major FMS notification to Kuwait in a short window, layering counter-UAS capability on top of pending LTAMDS radars, IBCS nodes, and Patriot upgrades — sketching a comprehensive US-supplied integrated air and missile defense stack for Kuwait. The counter-UAS focus (Roadrunner, Anvil) reflects the post-2024 Gulf threat environment where cheap drones have become a primary concern.
