Section 301 Forced Labor Determinations (60 Economies)

Current understanding

USTR issued Section 301 determinations finding that 60 economies failed to impose or effectively enforce prohibitions on the importation of goods produced with forced labor. The proposed action imposes additional duties of 10% or 12.5% on all products from those economies, with a distinct mechanism for textiles, and seeks public comment on the proposed remedies. Status: proposed action with comment period open; not yet in force.
