Abstract

(Rule · Environmental Protection Agency) This regulation establishes a tolerance for residues of permethrin (CASRN 52645-53-1) in or on the food and feed commodity of black pepper at 0.1 parts per million (ppm). Under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA), the American Spice Trade Association, Inc., submitted a petition to EPA requesting that EPA establish a maximum permissible level for residues of this pesticide in or on the identified commodity.
