Abstract
(Rule · Homeland Security Department, Coast Guard) The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary special local regulation (SLR) for certain navigable waters of San Pedro Bay. The SLR is needed to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from potential hazards created by the San Pedro Olympic Classes Regatta spanning two periods: July 19 through July 24, 2026, and August 3 through August 8, 2026. This regulation prohibits persons and vessels from entering the regulated area unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port Los Angeles–Long Beach or their designated representative.
