Abstract

(Rule · Homeland Security Department, Coast Guard) The Coast Guard will enforce the special local regulation (SLR) for the annual Bayview Yacht Club Port Huron to Mackinac Race. This action is necessary to safely control vessel movements in the vicinity of the race and provide for the safety of the general boating public and commercial shipping. During the enforcement period, the operator of any vessel in the regulated areas must comply with directions from the Patrol Commander or any Official Patrol displaying a Coast Guard ensign.
