NEXUS Trusted Traveler Family Application Linking
Current understanding
HR9382 would direct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to link family members’ applications together throughout the NEXUS trusted traveler application process, an incremental administrative reform intended to keep family members’ applications synchronized at each stage. NEXUS is a U.S.-Canada joint trusted traveler program that provides expedited border processing to pre-screened, low-risk travelers. Status: introduced.
