Tribal Access to Clean Water Act of 2025
Current understanding
The Tribal Access to Clean Water Act of 2025 expands eligibility for USDA Rural Utilities Service water/waste disposal loan-grant programs and technical assistance to federally recognized tribes and Native Hawaiian organizations. It authorizes the Indian Health Service to provide sanitation facility construction support (including operations and maintenance) for noncommercial tribal community structures, and increases authorized funding for the Bureau of Reclamation’s Native American Affairs technical-assistance program through FY2030.
