Think Differently Database Act
Current understanding
The Think Differently Database Act (enacted) directs CMS to establish and promote a public website consolidating Medicaid eligibility criteria, state Medicaid contact information, long-term services and supports (LTSS) options, and Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) wait-list resources for individuals with disabilities and their caregivers. The measure is an access/information mandate rather than a change to coverage or payment; its practical effect is to give beneficiaries and families a single federal reference point for navigating disability-related Medicaid benefits across states.
