Prevent Interruptions in Physical Therapy Act of 2025

Bill would expand Medicare’s locum tenens billing arrangement for physical therapists — currently limited to rural, medically underserved, or health professional shortage areas — to allow substitute physical therapists to bill under another therapist’s NPI in any geographic area during qualifying temporary absences.
