Medicare Dental, Hearing, and Vision Expansion Act of 2025

Current understanding

Introduced legislation that would add dental and oral health, hearing (including hearing aids and related services), and vision (including routine eye exams and eyeglasses) benefits to Medicare. Coverage would be paid under CMS fee schedules and financed in part through a three-year Part B premium phase-in beginning in 2028. Status: introduced; not enacted.
