Take Care of America’s Veterans Act
Current understanding
The Take Care of America’s Veterans Act is a multi-title veterans bill that expands disability compensation, survivor benefits, education, caregiver support, and mental health programs; codifies eligibility rules for the Veterans Community Care Program (VCCP); and directs VA to revise disability rating schedules for sleep apnea and tinnitus. It consolidates and extends existing VA authorities rather than establishing a wholly new benefits pathway. Status: introduced.
