ALERT Act of 2017 (Counter-Radicalization Training at Fusion Centers)
Current understanding
The ALERT Act of 2017 would authorize the Department of Homeland Security to provide counter-radicalization training to personnel at state and urban area fusion centers, and would require DHS to assess its efforts supporting state, local, tribal, and territorial (SLTT) governments in countering radicalization.
